Portal with Project Task Stage Change/Modify

This feature enables Customers / Portal Users / Portal Employees to view and interact with task stages directly from the portal. The stages are displayed as a progressive status bar on the portal task form view and are fully clickable. When a Customer / Portal User / Portal Employee opens the task form view, the current stage will be highlighted, allowing them to easily identify the tasks progress.

Customers / Portal Users / Portal Employees can seamlessly change the task stage from the portal, and any changes will be reflected in the backend. These stages are visible only when the "View and Click Task Stages on the Portal" option is enabled in the project form. Once activated for a project, all tasks associated with that project will allow Customers / Portal Users / Portal Employees to view and update their stages directly from the portal.

Main Features:

  • Portal Task Stage Management
    This feature allows Customers / Portal Users / Portal Employees to view task stages in the portal task form view, displayed as a progressive status bar. Portal Users / Portal Employees can click the stages to navigate between them easily.
  • Current Stage Highlighting
    When a Portal User / Portal Employee opens the task form view, the current stage is highlighted, providing clear visibility into the tasks progress.
  • Direct Stage Change from Portal
    Portal Users / Portal Employees can directly update the task stage from the portal. Any changes made by Customers / Portal Users / Portal Employees are automatically reflected in the backend, ensuring seamless synchronization.
  • Conditional Stage Display
    The stages are visible only when the "View and Click Task Stages on the Portal" option is enabled in the project form. This ensures that stages are displayed for tasks in projects where the option is specifically activated for Customers / Portal Users / Portal Employees.
  • Project-Specific Stage Visibility
    When the option is enabled for a project, all tasks within that project will allow Portal Users / Portal Employees to view and update stages directly from the portal, giving Customers / Portal Users / Portal Employees enhanced control and visibility within the projects context.
