- Equipment enablement has been introduced on products through a new âEquipmentâ checkbox. This checkbox is available on both Product Templates and Product Variants. Only products for which the Equipment option is enabled are allowed to generate maintenance equipment.
- Automatic equipment creation occurs from incoming stock. When an incoming picking is validated, the system checks each stock move. If the product is marked as Equipment, maintenance equipment records are created automatically.
- Serial or lot based equipment generation is supported for incoming products. When the incoming product uses serial or lot numbers, one maintenance equipment record is created for each serial or lot unit. The quantity is calculated based on the done quantities in the stock move lines.
- Quantity-based equipment creation is applied when the product does not use serial or lot numbers. In this case, one maintenance equipment record is created for each received unit quantity.
- Equipment names are generated automatically and dynamically. When serial or lot numbers are used, the equipment name is created using the product name followed by the serial index. When serial or lot numbers are not used, the equipment name is generated using the product name followed by an index. This approach ensures that each equipment name is unique and easy to read.
