This module enhances job costing by enabling variant based selection for Material, Labour, and Overhead lines. When a configurable product is selected, a Product Matrix popup displays all variants, allowing users to enter quantities and confirm selections. The system then automatically creates job cost lines with accurate cost prices, UoM, and product details for each selected variant.
Purpose of the Module
The purpose of this module is to streamline and improve job costing accuracy by enabling variant based product selection for Material, Labour, and Overhead cost lines.
Instead of manually adding individual product variants and adjusting quantities, the module automatically detects configurable products and presents all available variants through a Product Matrix interface. This allows users to select the required variant combinations and enter quantities in a single, structured view.
Upon confirmation, the system automatically creates job cost lines for each selected variant, applying the correct cost price, Unit of Measure (UoM), and product details. This ensures faster job cost preparation, consistent costing data, and reduced manual effort while maintaining full accuracy across job costing records.

In many job costing scenarios, users must manually identify and add product variants one by one for materials, labour, or overheads.
